Biodeamon: Alright, i'm taking this catgirl hostage and unless somebody pays me 100 hundred dollars or i'll go into a multiparagraphed lecture and explain how pokeballs are actually made out of acorns!
Biodeamon: very well, gather around for the lesson children.
so basically there is this type of tree that grows in the jhoto region. it makes a fruit called an apricorn that is basically the devil-spawn of an acorn(or walnut) and a berry.
people carved out the inside of the apricorn and cut it in half. they then placed some sort of device inside the pokeball that traps and contains the pokemon inside the pokeball.
before pokemon were captured they were just called "magical monsters". after they were domesticated by the use of the ruporpused apricorn ball devices they were then reffered to as "pocket monsters" because you could fit them in your pocket with the use of the apricorns. The apricorns were called "pokeballs" after the mosters that were inside them.
And that concludes the history lesson on how pokeballs were made from aprocorns.
