Fishsticks: this is really.....REALLY weird, dood. (excuse the last word. i seem to be having problems controlling my random mind nowadays........dood)
OrcMaster: Well Matrix, spiders are quite a hobby of mine. Often, a spider (depending on the breed or species or subspecies) will caputure a living animal, subdue or paralyze it, lay its eggs in and keep it alive until the babies hatch.
OrcMaster: This is so that the newborn spiders will have something to eat, saving the mother-spiders the trouble of feeding each one individually. Those that don't get any food often eat other baby spiders, get eaten by other baby spiders, or are eaten by the mother-spider because she's bored and hungry.
OrcMaster: At which point, the spiders will spread out in a circular pattern and grow to maturity. Some spiders spin a web-balloon to catch drifts of wind and can sometimes fly all over the world (however unlikely that is). Sometimes, spiders can land in a crate or piece of luggage that will be transported oversea to another country.
Shandrial: Even though I'm not much for spiders this has everything I love, Bondage, Eggs, Anal, Etc..
Id just hope the spiders that hatch are just as friendly as the ones that do the impregnation. if so
*Next willing victim here* Yumm
There are wasps that lay eggs on the abdomen of a spider, then the young eat the spider. There's another insect that paralyses a spider and uses it for larvae food.
Very nice picture anyway, I like spiders too, though I don't want them to eat people.
OrcMaster: Don't talk to me about spiders, you're an orange!
And yes, spiders (again, referring to my earlier "depending on the breed or species or subspecies" will lay eggs inside living or paralyzed food.
Interesting sidenote, there's a species of insect that zombifies cockroaches. Hard to believe it from jjust reading it, but I can't remember the name of the insect...
Mandarin: Camel Spiders dig a burrow, lay their eggs in it and then guard it. And you don't mess with a Camel Spider. Horrible looking things, but like most spiders they get a bad press.
OrcMaster: Camel spiders aren't spiders in particular. Close relatives, but of a different order. More closely related to wind scorpions.
And no, my knowledge of the name of the species of spider that lays its eggs inside captured living prey fails me, but can you honestly deny that it happens? It really doesn't seem that far-fetched to me.
Now, the urban rumor about people swallowing spiders in their sleep, THAT is bullshit.
Shandrial: Same here, hell if they tie me up with the webbing it doesnt matter how afraid I am I'm instantly dripping. Dont know why but bondage has always done that to me.
Hijin: Most of these girls got their mouth and nose covered...HOW ARE THEY GONA BREATH?! *sniff* waste of girls...or perhaps they die when the young spiders get out of their eggs...but still its a waste, you want them to be alive when the young spiders eat them.*evil laugh*
Day of the Tentacle: First, this talk about eating is unnecessary, it is a fictional situation, it need not happen, secondly, maybe the web is breathable and so it is not an issue.
tarantula: Well for one thing to clear it up with most of you those spiders are only gonna crawl out the hole they came in and the girls will be put back into line for receiving their next batch of eggs, but before they get to birth them someone like myself has to fertilize the eggs
its completely harmless and many of the girls are screaming in PURE bliss I might add, also the web is completely breathable, we just use it so they dont buck around like most women do during sex.
So anyone wanna go just let me know
also the one on the right is my cousin mary
Desert_Wollf_Forgotten_Password: There's a story behind these from the artist. Basically the spiders go and collect the human women as viable wombs as they're unable to do so themselves. Every generation of spiders comes from these women... who go and collect More women..
ophidiophile: OrcMaster, nice to meet another naturalist.
I don't think there are any spiders that lay eggs inside any type of prey. I looked online for unusual spiders, and nothing like that popped up, which doesn't mean there aren't, I know. However, it seems unlikely because a spider would have to abandon the very successful behavior of protecting the eggs with silk, and because female spiders don't appear to have an egg-laying organ that could be modified for injecting eggs into prey or an opening in the prey (an example of which would be the above picture).
Damian_Knight: This is, without a question, my absolute favorite picture. I have been stalking it forever... But I finally made an account here. Made this my first favorite.
