slitheris: My first attempt at a 3D render using DAZ3D with added character/prop. Feedback appreciated! I'll be using this toothed worm a whole lot more...
spurgasburt: Feedback: Keep at it, practice makes perfect. This one goes astray with the hands and face, probably the two hardest things to illustrate in any medium. The hands and fingers should be doing something appropriate to the scene, like trying to ward off the attacking worm. The posture she is in looks like... maybe leaning on an invisible bike. The face is just strange - lips are wide open like a shout, but her teeth and jaws are mostly or completely closed. That's a difficult expression to do in real life. Her eyes are focused on something past the worm, and the expression is hard to read... bored? Drugged? Subdued in any case. You should probably be going for panicked or startled.
Keep doing these, it's the only way to improve. Good first attempt.
slitheris: Thanks spurgas - really didn't put much time into poses or expression, really was making a beeline to get a render going as quick as possible, wanted to see if the end result was going to be worth the effort before I spent a lot of time fine tuning. I was pleasantly surprised!
Kado - Not sure - I'm new to DAZ3D - is there compatibility between blender and DAZ3D objects?
