The life of an interstellar cargo transporter can come with its share of challenges, but one of the most difficult tasks Elodie found herself performing was removing unwanted pests that had gotten loose in her ship. This particular monstrosity had managed to hide away in her ship's ventilation system, and Elodie knew this was a job that would require additional help. That might have been her first mistake.

Captain Nenetl, one of Elodie's few true friends, is one of the best shots in the galaxy... when she wants to be. Nenetl "dropping" her weapon during the monster's initial attack was the first moment Elodie realized she was going to be in for a long night.
