Meepers: Upon entering the digestive tract (DT), food sources (FS) are slowly passed through the entire length of the DT and their nutritional reserves (NR) are enhanced for proper absorption and then absorbed. During this process, villi along the DT walls are activated selectively according to the type of FS being processed. The activated villi pre-process the FS, allowing them to reach their maximum nutritious potential (MNP). This greatly increases efficiency in absorption of critical lactic and alcoholic constituents. FS are perpetually kept at MNP for a usual maximum of five to twelve hours, as they are slowly processed through the entire length of DT. The time elapsed depends on the NR level present in each FS. When completely drained, FS exhibit a decline in nutrition in their output to levels below what can be effectively absorbed. When this happens, the FS are ejected back into a harvesting pod where they are left to regenerate their NR before being processed again.
Shandrial_: This doesnt look like to bad a fate if its what Meepers put out. At least when they are done you are put into regeneration to have it done over and over so you dont really die.
