Raen: actually, a Naga is a murderous water spirit who takes the form of a snake with arms. the half-woman thing is popular misinformation, which arose from a blending of seperate cultures. brazilian natives first conceived the Naga, and the greek's notions on serpent's winding motion being graceful and feminine gave rise to the modern naga.

what we see here is one of a pair of irish mythological beings. the Wurm has the lower body of a Drake, where a Wyrm has the wings and claws.
