RaelB: So why is it called 'corpse party'?

Lord-Tentacle: I think they are the girls from the Japanese (I think) video game or animated movie/show. Something about trying to escape a abandoned school or something and getting murdered by entities.

I'm just assuming this after I watched Corpse Party: Tormented Souls, which I honestly regret watching. I have no idea if the Corpse Party video game is the same thing.

sealedbymistress: It's like a tasting menu. They are restrained and their senses restricted until someone decides one of them will be raped or otherwise sexually tortured. Maybe pumped to bursting point with eggs, maybe pounded by an alien, maybe forced onto a sex machine? One thing is for sure; their pleas will go unmet. The others will listen to the screams of their friend and know their turn will surely come.

CutieNix: Oooh! Corpse Party! It's an RPGMaker type of a horror game. While the game itself doesn't go graphically in detail with the gore that much, it describes the gore in excruciating detail. So in that regard it's worse.

Personally I enjoyed the CP: TS first episode. The rest were meh.
