Azrael: haha, Dragon Slayer Armour porn. who'd have thought it?

Shinku: This is a good depiction of what DSA does to many players on their first attempt lol. Best application of lightning damage ever. That's sure to drop that Vigor ;)

Is that the Master's top and... Desert Pyromancer legs she has on? I'm always a fan of the Desert Pyromancer top and Loincloth look myself.

Shinku: Now I'm waiting for one of the Pilgrim Butterflies to cockblock with a giant meatball.

Azrael: I didn't find DSA too hard, I quite like that fight. The butterflies are busy in the background with other ashen ones

Shinku: Personally I found it easy as well. First he didn't touch me, though I'd have to check the upload to see if the Butterflies' meatballs tickled me at the end lol. The one thing that would've gotten me, had I not known prior, was his phase 2 animation looking like a stagger. So I just hit him 2 or 3 times during it, rolled through the shockwave, and hit him a few more for free. Definitely harder than Gundyr, but DSA is fair and, even if you roll early, some of his moves have enough delay that you can do another roll.

I heard you can parry his two low-stance two-handed attacks, where he rushes with a swipe and where he shoots a shockwave with the swing, but can't reposte. Seems pointless to stand in front and try to parry the super fast attack for little reward when strafing it during its long windup is much safer xD

Still surprised nothing of Ebrietas yet, unless I missed it. I wanna see one of a Brainsucker using its hollow phantasm tube to suck... other places xP

Azrael: Champion Gundyr I find pretty easy. killed him first try, and subsequent play throughs only one or two attempts. his attack speed seems to work well with my reflex rolls speed

Shinku: Not only that, but he was even easier than Iudex Gundyr (for me) because, by then, I realized you could parry him (and had a lot of experience parrying). I think I riposted him just before he went into phase 2, so it really lowered his phase 2 health. Because of that, he only got to use that initial phase 2 charge attack, which got parried, and then he died to my glave's WA as he got up from the riposte lol.

He's also fun, and better rewards reflex dodges. LobosJr was so happy and like "In your face, YouTube!" when Lobro beat him first try too. Lobro doesn't really pick up on things very fast, or learn from mistakes, but he's very aggressive and good with reflex dodging. While it caused him to get wasted by Deacons, it was perfect for Gundyr. I was ike "I think he's either gonna get it first try after seeing him handle Iudex pretty easily, or he'll be stuck for a long time". DSA I figured he'd do in just a few tries, since he's not good at delaying his rolls. But I mean he beat OoK, who I think is the hardest Souls boss, so I had faith he'd do it.

Azrael: I haven't watched any Lobos yet, I need to do that. Orphan of Kos still gives me major hassle, I need to practice that fight.

Shinku: He's crazy. Does all kinds of challenge runs for all the Souls games. He did DkS1 with 1 HP and 1 Stamina (can't run or roll unless you have at least 2). Did an enemy/item randomizer mod in DkS1 where all the enemies were replaced with bosses and he had to equip anything he saw.

And he did Ludwid, Living Failures, Maria, Orphan, and Laurence on NG+7 with bare fists only. I watched the Ludwig one. Like... I'm pretty good at first time experiences. In my playthrough of Bloodborne, the only time I died was once to Gascoigne. Did every area/boss including DLC first try, and while the fights all went pretty well and never made me go below half my Blood Vials... Lobos has a crazy ability to learn the boss fights really fast and have the moves memorized. The first time he fought Midir seriously, he had his moves down and beat him in THAT fight.

Just watching his fight against Ludwig with fists only, shows how fast and how well he learns the bosses. Every little twitch the boss does, every tel, he has it all memorized.

Shinku: He's also done escort runs for each game. DkS3 was probably the best. It's where he'll equip as much gear as possible to force him to slow walk, summon up to 3 phantoms (viewers of the stream via password) while he does nothing but slowly walk towards the boss, not attacking or defending, while the summons escort him to the boss... or viewers invade to try to stop him. It's basically the stream chat playing. Once he reaches the boss, he can attack and block, but still can't move fast or roll. He basically plays the role of an NPC, and sometimes does stupid stuff while distracted (since all he's doing is walking slowly), with people making fun saying "AI broke" or "NPC pathing problems" lol.
