thesoullessone: totally agree. and the overdubbing on the English version is WRETCHED - it makes the already laughable storyline genuinely hilarious. although, the only Urotsukidoji i've seen is the third one: "Return of the Overfiend" or some such thing. i also found the rape scenes hard to watch; not the usual, "Oh no, not the tentacles... teehee, actually, that's kind of nice" tentacle rape - i mean the crying and the begging and the beating and the ripping off her clothes and killing her family... while raping her with the tentacle-penis kind of tentacle rape. yikes.

I for one enjoyed Urotsukidoji a lot and still find it a classic.
